Free web resources
These are all resources that you can use for building your own website.
-
Neocities
- Neocities is a free online hosting platform made for personal websites coded by hand. Neocities sites are coded in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML. It only hosts static sites, so sites like a personal blog or info page are possible, but something like a full wiki is not (see Miraheze for a site where a full wiki is possible).
-
Miraheze
- Miraheze is a free wiki farm. I don't have much to say, it's just a really extensive wiki farm. It's probably extensive enough to build Wikipedia from the ground up.
-
M15o's HTML Blog
- HTML Blog, a service made by the lovely M15o, is a free resource used to generate RSS feeds from regular blogs.
- It also has a sister service, HTML Journal, for single-page journals.
- Both HTML Blogs and HTML Journals can be uploaded to The Neon Kiosk, a masterlist of entries from many blogs and journals.
